“Lily”

Lily was my best friend, a true companion dog. I had wanted a Sussex Spaniel to do agility with, and she succeeded in that. She was the top Sussex Spaniel in agility for 2017. She qualified for AKC Agility Invitationals 3 years in a row. In addition to agility, Lily was a great dog who provided me with many new experiences. She was the first dog I ever showed in conformation, and she went on to earn her Championship. Lily was also the first dog I ever bred. She produced 3 beautiful puppies all of which participate in conformation. One of them does hunting, and another is being trained in agility. Lily was also the first dog I tried lure coursing and barn hunt with. She participated in obedience and rally as well.

Above all, Lily loved people and attention and loved to be loved. At the Meet the Breed booth at Invitationals she would run out in the aisle to greet people attracting them to the booth to give her belly rubs. Lily was a wonderful dog, and she is greatly missed.
